This is the 3rd battery I've purchased from Amazon. Instead, they all seem to go after 3 years. They do the job well enough but they don't last as long as I would like. Like all NiCads they self discharge over several weeks but I expected that they would not die in under 5 years. I'd be really unhappy if I was paying $30 each (full price). I'd love to be able to upgrade to NiMh or Lithium but I can't find them here.
This is a typical nicad battery that is as lame as most nicads. I bougt it because I could not find a quality battery for my Milwaukee screwdriver and this was the only one available. Darn shame but next time I buy a screwdriver it won't have a nicad battery.
We use these in our manufacturing operations and they last for several days. We have backup batteries on charge so we are never without power. They hold a good charge under heavy use for at least two years.
What's to say. I received a good battery for a great price and I got it in a timely fashion.
